Montage Monday: October 26, 2015
Well, its kind of crazy to believe, but today is our 6-month anniversary of living aboard a sailboat!!!!!! Wow that just seems so crazy. So much has happened, and yet so little. We are ecstatic to head south with the birds for winter.
In preparation for departure, we’ve been provisioning quite a bit more since our first big haul a few weeks back. We’ve heard that the destruction from Hurricane Joaquin will make it more difficult to acquire food in the Bahamas. We decided to do another provisioning trip to Raleigh this past weekend. I also discovered a company Harmony House Foods, that have a huge variety of fruits, veggies, beans and meats in the freeze-dried and dehydrated department. Our food stores are packed to the brim right now so I am hopeful we will not go hungry…maybe we’ll even have leftovers!

Went outside and tooted his horn, off to find a bosun in the new world morn. I heard a screech and went to see—cornered a bosun with a look of glee.. Oh, Blue-ue-ue, you good car, you!!!”
Thank you so much! It was fun – we had a boat visitor that day and enjoyed doing nothing more than socializing and relaxation – something we haven’t been able to do in the last several weeks as boat projects have been stacking.
